Your Early Years staff team will be valued, inspired and upskilled as they are introduced to the Groovy Little Movers' programme.
Our programme is easy to use, the children love it and it really makes an impact. We focus on the 3 prime areas of learning:
Physical development
You will discover fresh, new ways to elevate Physical Development in your setting: boosting pupils’ engagement and developing their fine and gross motor skills, their core strength, muscle tone and fitness.
Communication and Language
Learn our Groovy songs with Makaton signs and integrate them seamlessly into your curriculum to boost Communication and Language, whilst strengthening working memory and sequencing skills. Use Groovy songs and music to improve pupils’ attention and active listening and to support them in transition times to make them fun and cooperative.
Personal, Social and Emotional Development
All this links to their Personal, Social and Emotional Development, as pupils develop a greater understanding of how their bodies work, how to be healthy and how they can regulate themselves, using music to help them exercise as well as calm down and relax. Through group singing and exercises, pupils will develop their sense of self, as well as how to wait and take turns and so develop crucial social skills and stronger connections.
After the training, you will be given access to our audio resources to use in your setting for 12 months. You can also purchase curriculum link materials for your content, further training and the next term's content at any time and so expand your offer of the Groovy Little Movers' programme.
